This jalapeño cilantro hummus tastes fresh and flavorful and is a great way to use the jalapeños that are overflowing in my garden right now. After my good friend offered to pay me to make this for her regularly, I knew I needed to add it to the blog.

Ingredients
- 2 (15 oz) cans garbanzo beans (I like Bush's beans the best and swear it makes a difference)
- 1/3 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- Juice of 3/4 of a lime
- 2-3 jalapeños, seeds removed if you don't like spice (I leave about 1/4 of the seeds)
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- 1 bunch of cilantro
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoons of salt
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a food processor and puree. If it's too thick, add more water or olive oil. Add extra salt or lime juice to taste.
